Payments
The Payments section in each client is a full billing hub. Connect a provider, then create invoices, estimates, subscriptions, payment links and more.
What's in here
The Payments sidebar has these sections:
| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| All invoices | Send one-off invoices by choosing a contact and one or more saved products |
| Recurring invoices | Bill the same customer on a schedule (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) |
| Templates | Reusable line-item presets, plus your default invoice design |
| Estimates | Send quotes that can be accepted, declined, or converted into an invoice |
| Documents & Contracts | Manage Proposals and e-signatures (live under Payments) |
| Subscriptions | Active recurring billing schedules |
| Payment Links | Re-usable hosted payment pages |
| Transactions | Every card charge, pulled live from Stripe |
| Products | Catalogue of services/items with name, description and price |
| Coupons | Discount codes (percent off or fixed amount) |
Using coupons
- Go to Payments → Coupons and create a code (percent or fixed amount, optional max uses and expiry).
- When creating an invoice, type the code in Coupon code and press Apply — the discount comes off the subtotal before tax.
- The discount shows on the invoice, the payment page and the emailed copy, and the coupon's usage count goes up once the invoice is created.
You can edit a coupon, switch it off with the toggle, or delete it at any time. Codes that are inactive, expired or fully used can't be applied to new invoices. | Settings | Branding, logo, invoice design, wording, default currency ($ USD), tax rate, payment terms | | Integrations | Connect Stripe, or save Wise / bank-transfer details |
Choosing a provider
- Stripe - card, Apple Pay and Google Pay via hosted checkout, with automatic paid status.
- Wise / Bank transfer - no API connection. You enter your bank details once, we show them on the hosted pay page with a payment reference, and you mark the invoice paid when the transfer lands.
The Integrations tab is only for connecting providers - all invoicing lives in Payments → Invoices.
Branding, design and wording
Everything a customer sees is controlled in Payments → Settings:
- Branding - upload your logo (PNG/SVG, up to 2MB) and pick an accent colour.
- Invoice design - Classic, Modern, Minimal or Bold. Live previews show the real email, and your branding is applied to whichever you choose.
- Invoice wording - customise the email subject, heading, intro message, pay-button label and the reminder wording. Tokens
{{customer}},{{business}},{{amount}},{{invoice}}and{{due}}are filled in automatically. Leave a field blank to use the default.
The same design and branding is used for invoice emails, reminders and the hosted pay page. You can also switch the default design from Payments → Templates.
Contact Billing Tab
Every contact record includes a Billing tab. This allows you to:
- View all invoices sent to that specific contact.
- Check payment status (Paid, Overdue, Draft).
- Use the Charge Now button to instantly process a payment for a saved customer.
Documents & Contracts
The Payments hub now integrates Proposals and e-signatures. You can build interactive proposals, send them for digital signature, and automatically trigger an invoice once signed.
Connecting Stripe
- Open Payments → Integrations, then click Connect Stripe.
- Follow the Stripe Connect flow to link your account. Myra uses restricted API keys to ensure security while managing Invoices, Customers, and Payment Links.
Sending an invoice
- Go to Invoices and click New invoice.
- Select the customer or enter their details.
- Add products from your catalogue.
- Click Create & send.
Invoices are sent from Myra's managed sending infrastructure (notify@myra-app.ai). When the customer pays, the invoice status updates to Paid automatically.
Recurring invoices & subscriptions
Use Recurring invoices to bill customers on a schedule. Pick the customer, amount, frequency, and start date. You can manage these schedules at any time from the Subscriptions table.
Branding and defaults
Settings lets you set:
- Business name, address, email and phone (shown on every invoice)
- Default currency (USD), tax rate, and payment terms
- Brand colour and logo
- Default invoice visual design (Classic, Modern, Minimal, Bold)
