Navigating the app

A tour of the sidebar, command palette, and keyboard shortcuts.

Navigating a powerful platform like Myra should be intuitive and lightning-fast. The interface is designed to keep your most-used tools within one or two clicks at all times.

The Global Navigation

The sidebar is your primary map on desktop. It keeps the most-used tools visible while leaving the top of the app for compact workspace controls. The sidebar is collapsible and minimisable to maximize your workspace.

  • Dashboard: A bird's-eye view of your business health, including conversion rates and revenue.
  • Sales Pipeline: Your visual sales pipeline for managing deals and opportunities.
  • Contacts: The central database for every lead, client, and partner.
  • Communications (Inbox & Social): Where all your 1-to-1 and 1-to-many messaging lives.
  • Marketing (Forms): Tools for capturing contacts and creating beautiful assets.
  • Operations (Calendar & Tasks): Managing your time and your team's to-do lists.
  • Automation & AI: The "brain" of your workspace, including workflows and the AI Workforce.
  • Settings: Workspace configuration and user management.

Tip: On mobile, tap the menu icon in the top controls to open the navigation drawer. If your client list is long, use the visible scroll rail beside the list to move through it.

Top controls

The compact top control area is always visible and contains workspace actions without stretching across the full screen.

  • Workspace Switcher: Use the switcher to move between Business View and individual clients. In Business View, the top-right switcher reads Business workspace rather than a business or client name.
  • View as User: Admins can use the "View as" picker in the top-right to preview the app with a specific user's permissions.
  • Notifications: Open unread communication alerts from the bell icon.
  • Theme Toggle: Switch between light and dark mode.
  • User Menu: Open profile options, sign out, or use business tools.

The Command Palette (⌘ K / Ctrl K)

For power users, the Command Palette is the fastest way to move. Press ⌘ K (Mac) or Ctrl K (Windows) to open the overlay.

Capabilities:

  • Navigation: Type "Pip" to jump to Pipeline, or "Set" to jump to Settings.
  • Search: Search for a contact (e.g., "Sarah Smith") and hit Enter to go straight to their profile.
  • Actions: Type "Email" to open a blank email composer, or "Task" to create a new reminder.
  • Switching: Search for other workspaces you have access to.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Myra is built to be used without a mouse. Once you master these shortcuts, your productivity will skyrocket.

Workspace Customization

Depending on your role, you may want to reorder or hide certain sidebar items.

  1. Go to Settings → Workspace → Sidebar.
  2. Drag and drop items to change their order.
  3. Use the toggle to hide features your team doesn't use (e.g., if you don't use a module, hide it to reduce clutter).
  4. These changes can be applied to yourself or as a default for the whole team.

Common Pitfalls

  • Losing Work: Always ensure you click "Save" on pages like the Form or Automation builder. The sidebar will warn you with a red dot if there are unsaved changes before you navigate away.
  • Search Scope: The global search defaults to "Contacts." If you are looking for a specific automation or setting, make sure to use the Command Palette (⌘ K) instead.
  • Refreshes: If the app has just been updated, refreshing should reload your current workspace cleanly without changing your selected client.
  • Loading recovery: Myra may recover automatically from stale update files, but interface errors stop on a retry screen instead of repeatedly reloading the page.

FAQs

Can I change the sidebar color? Yes, this is handled in Settings → Branding. Changing the primary color will update the sidebar highlight and icons.

Is there a "Back" button? We recommend using the breadcrumbs in the header or the standard browser back button. The app is fully state-aware and will return you to exactly where you were.
