Ad accounts are connected once at business level, then mapped to the client workspace that should see them. Until an ad account is mapped, the client's Ads page stays empty.
Only business owners, admins and account managers can do this — client users cannot connect ad accounts themselves.
1. Connect Meta in the business view
- Switch to the business view (workspace switcher, top-left).
- Go to Ads Manager in the business settings.
- Click Connect Meta and sign in with a Facebook user that has access to your Business Manager.
- Approve the requested permissions (ads read access and the pages/business scopes). If pages are missing, the account you signed in with needs Business Manager access to them.
Once connected, Myra lists every ad account it can see in your Business Manager.
2. Enable the ad accounts you use
In the Available ad accounts list, enable each ad account you want to pull data for. Enabled accounts begin syncing spend, campaigns, ad sets, ads and results automatically.
3. Map each ad account to a client
In the Enabled ad accounts table, use the Client dropdown on each row:
- Pick a client to make that ad account's data visible on that client's Ads page.
- Choose No client (business-only) to keep the account visible only in the business view.
Mapping backfills the existing data immediately, so the client's Ads page populates as soon as you save — no need to wait for the next sync.
One ad account maps to one client. If a client runs several ad accounts, map each of them to the same client.
4. Check the client view
Switch into the client workspace and open Ads in the sidebar. You should see KPIs, the daily spend chart, and the campaign / ad set / ad tables for the mapped account(s).
Troubleshooting
Client's Ads page still says "No ad account connected yet" The account isn't mapped. Go back to business view → Ads Manager → set the Client dropdown on that ad account.
Ads doesn't appear in the client's sidebar The Ads module is gated per plan/client. Enable the ads feature for that client in their feature settings.
Numbers look out of date Syncs run automatically each day. Re-mapping or re-enabling an account triggers a fresh pull.
After adding an ad account
When you add an ad account it pulls in the last 30 days of data automatically, so figures appear straight away. If the first sync can't complete you'll see a warning with the reason and can press Sync to retry.
