Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: July 2026
This page is maintained by HeyMyra Inc. ("Myra") to describe the accessibility of the Myra platform and marketing website. It is our own statement of practice, not an independent audit or certification.
1. Our Commitment
We want Myra to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of how we build and review the product, not a one-off project.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Myra is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which means some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to identify and remediate those areas.
3. Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure with meaningful headings and landmark regions.
- Labelled form controls, with error messages conveyed in text rather than colour alone.
- Keyboard-operable interactive elements, including dialogs, menus, and navigation.
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- Accessible component primitives with built-in focus management and ARIA semantics.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and labels for icon-only controls.
- Colour-contrast review as part of design and interface changes.
- Periodic internal accessibility reviews of the application and marketing site.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations remain:
- Third-party embeds. Payment, calendar, video, mapping, and other embedded components are supplied by third parties and may not be fully accessible. We raise issues with those vendors where we can.
- Customer-authored content. Pages, forms, proposals, documents, and messages created by our customers inside Myra are under their control; we provide accessible building blocks but cannot guarantee the content produced with them.
- Complex data views. Some dense interfaces, such as drag-and-drop pipeline boards and analytics charts, are still being improved for non-visual and keyboard-only use. Where possible we provide alternative list or table views.
- Uploaded media. Files, recordings, and images uploaded by users may lack captions, transcripts, or alternative text.
5. Compatibility
Myra is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox on desktop and mobile, used together with current versions of common screen readers and assistive technologies. It may not work reliably with browsers or assistive technologies more than two major versions old.
6. Feedback & Assistance
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on Myra, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us at contact@heymyra.ai with the subject line "Accessibility Feedback".
Please tell us the page or feature involved, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days. If something blocks you from completing a task, we will work with you to provide an accessible alternative route to that task while we fix the underlying issue.
7. Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, reply to our message asking for the issue to be escalated, or write to contact@heymyra.ai with the subject line "Accessibility Escalation". A senior member of our team will review the matter and respond to you directly.
8. Ongoing Improvement
We review this statement periodically and update it as the platform changes and as remediation work is completed. Accessibility feedback from customers and their end users directly informs what we prioritise.
