Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is incorporated into and forms part of the Myra Terms of Service between you and HeyMyra Inc. ("Myra," "we," "us" or "our"). It applies to every user, workspace, business and client. We may update this AUP at any time; continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.

1. Prohibited Content & Conduct

You must not use, or allow any third party to use, the Service to:

  • Violate any law, regulation, court order or third-party right.
  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or communications that violate the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CTIA guidelines, A2P 10DLC rules, GDPR or other applicable law.
  • Send messages to recipients who have not given valid prior consent, or after they have opted out.
  • Send SHAFT-restricted content (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco) where prohibited, illegal-substance content, phishing, high-risk financial content (payday loans, debt reduction, gambling where restricted), pyramid or "get rich quick" schemes, deceptive lead-gen, or content misrepresenting the sender.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, stalk, dox, discriminate against or defraud any person.
  • Distribute malware, spyware, ransomware or other malicious code.
  • Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, publicity or privacy right.
  • Collect, harvest or process personal data without a lawful basis.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent affiliation.
  • Interfere with, degrade or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, other users, or any connected third-party platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access, probe or bypass security, rate-limits, quotas, authentication or authorisation.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, mirror, benchmark or build a competing product from the Service.
  • Use the Service in connection with nuclear, chemical or biological weapons; life-support systems where failure could cause death or serious injury; or any use prohibited by US or applicable export laws or sanctions.
  • Violate the policies of upstream providers (including Stripe, telephony providers, Meta and AI model providers).

2. Messaging & Calling Standards

  • Complete A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration before sending US SMS. Register in equivalent regimes elsewhere as required.
  • Honour quiet hours (typically 8am–9pm local recipient time in the US, and equivalent local rules elsewhere).
  • Identify yourself clearly in every commercial message.
  • Do not manipulate sender IDs to disguise origin, and do not use numbers to evade opt-outs or blocks.
  • Obtain any legally required consent before recording calls.

3. AI Use

  • Do not use AI features to generate content that violates this AUP.
  • Do not present AI output as human-authored where law requires disclosure.
  • Do not use AI features to make consequential decisions about individuals (credit, employment, housing, insurance, healthcare) without human review and independent legal compliance.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we deem appropriate, including warning you, throttling or removing content, suspending or terminating your account, reporting to authorities or upstream providers, and pursuing legal remedies. Enforcement action does not entitle you to a refund. We are not obligated to monitor or pre-screen content but may do so at our discretion.

5. Reporting Abuse
